Music Ministry

The purpose of the Music Ministry is to provide correct and appropriate liturgical music for the liturgies and other services through the year. Those with musical talents who would like to participate are welcome to join.

Choirs at St. Teresa

If you are interested in singing with a choir you have several options:
The 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass Choir admits members by audition. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the church. They sing from September through May. If interested, please contact Director Richard Carey at 323-9517. For more information click (here)

A guitar choir sings one 4:30 p.m. Saturday Mass each month and rehearses on Monday evenings. A family friendly handbell choir plays one mass each month.  Rehearsals are Wednesday evening 6:45 p.m.-7:45 p.m. in church. Play the hand bells to enhance the Liturgy and to be an active participant. A Children's Christmas Choir is formed every year for the 4:30 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass. Letters are sent from school and the CCD program inviting children to participate. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if your son or daughter may be interested in joining the Youth Christmas Choir.

Musicians

At this time, our parish organists are Joan Gould and Judy Lohnes. They plan weekday and weekend Masses including the children's Mass during the school year. We are always seeking additional organists to cover absences. All individuals interested in becoming an additional organist to our parish... or simply an alternate, please contact the Parish Office at 342-8861.

The music program is always seeking musicians to aid in our liturgies throughout the year.
